I had the idea I didn’t I do that much this block. To have an overview I started to collect everything I did during these wakes and came to the conclusion that I did a lot. It was a good thing that gave me some confidence. I showed the new images during this weeks webinar.

We came to the conclusion that the one at the top right is not good enough, yet.

This one I made yesterday. Really like the waves in it.

This one I was not sure about by start but Laura thought it beautiful. reminded het of Polaroid image transfers

This one reminds me of a kind of patchwork

I become more selective by the week. Less and less images are considered good enough but I have made them. And working in a series you sometimes have to kill your darlings, as we all know.

To plan a publication I selected all the images I have now and placed them on the table to see them. I moved them around a bit and came to the conclusion that, for now, I like them on a page with an empty page next to it; as clean as possible. I placed them that way in Lightroom and ordered a small book to be able to see how it works. I also printed the “byproducts” that I like a lot as well but they didn’t make it in the book yet.

For the flower project I printed the last images and than I will start to bind it by hand and have to come up with a cover. Cemre sent me a mail about a new published book also with real dried flowers inside if I understan the text correct on transparant paper. They also added beautiful, fold out pages. https://www.overlapse.com/new-publication-tree-life-eternally-green/

My photos print and placed on the kitchen table.

With my work we went a weekend to a hotel on the beach in an old-fashioned style place. That is where I made the new images you saw in this post. Just realised that I not always show the originals and some of them are worth showing.
