Together with Len, Chris, James an Clodagh we are working on a project about climeate change. The brief is to het awareness. After the presentation we did last Friday we had a meeting togteher yesterday. (most of the times we meet twice a week).
The 5 slides for the presentation that I made with the input of the group:

Some of the questions we got were:
General public; be more specific
App idea why not go for snapshat that is what teeners use
We had a heavy discussion because;
1. It is a photographic pitch and although I don’t have a problem with not taking the images ourselves others had. I think that the street is about local stories and the more local stories the better.
2. With apps; why would people go and download an app?
3. The audience teens (from 11year old) and young people for sure but also families with those teachers. And women above 45 because that are the one with the backbone and the one that get arrested during the protest actions. But they are also the ones not doing apps.
4. We don’t want to do everything about the problems; why not think the opposite > solutions is something I asked in the beginning and told about a book by Paul Arden: “ whatever you think, think the opposite”. I ones bought the book and still read it now and then to keep me on track. (And two of the others bought it as well; Interesting is the images and examples about photography in the book).

Idea we came up with:
So instead of something that is missing we could also go for the opposite; what is so beautiful or special that you want to keep it? What are local inventions or solutions? Share them to help others. Gave hope and alternatives.
Audience; Family’s; what can we do at home, small things; local
Output; some kind of interactive; installation, snapchat, google maps overlay

Jealous computers
As inspiration I told the others about a marketing project where Gerdien Stevense (a friend) did the concept and art for. Photography was by Margi Geerlinks another friend. for Nokia https://www.gerdienstevense.nl/Nokia-Jealous-Computers
The idea was to show that computers become jealous and aggressive because the phone takes over their place/job. For this the campain warns the public in a teasing and dry humorous way. To get influential bloggers engaged they made videos in which Dr. Shopova sends a personalized message. On youtube they placed footage. The bloggers wrote together over 600 blogs about the campaign. The website www.jealouscomputers.com formed the core of the campaign and provided information about the spread of the plague, provides safety tips and offers room for participation. "Jealous Computers" is further brought to the attention with warning posters and banners.
It was very smart to involve outsiders in the campaign to spread the word and make content. It was a very new idea and the budget was small so it provided a solution. No wonder they were awarded several times.
I don't think you should be afraid of involving others in a project. In addition, I think the question is not so much to come up with a photographic solution, but more to help create awareness. In what way is of suitable importance.
Because it is becoming increasingly clear to me that I want to make my own work with my photography, and to become familiar with it, to sell that it is not as important for me as for others in the group to leave an impression.
On the other hand, I can therefore take a little more distance and I have found that it is precisely this attitude that can take your sosm further.
