For the book we have to make I am doing a research on printing methods because I bought the Ilford creative emulsion that you can paint on different surfaces to print on.

I start with 5 different papers split in halfs; the left half a solution A 50/solution B 50 ratio. The other part a solution A 75/ solution B 25 ratio. It has to dry for 3 hours.

The emulsions

Two different brushes; half of the paper s smooth as possible, the other half seeing the brush stroke.

Tried to print today, had some problems with the paperfeed but I got some awesome results.

Gray paper

divers prints on packpaper

Rice paper; thin and a bit transparant

Of course having flowers to print I had to make a couple of cyanotypes in the tradition of Anna Atkin https://petapixel.com/2015/02/03/look-inside-worlds-first-photo-book-1843/

Cyanotypes

Having a book I tried to bind all the pages for the first time this way (before I used glee) with the left-over prints

When young I used to have a herbarium; so what about adding that one?

Now I have to make the cover and bind the real book. I will add all the experiment with different papers and the paper made myself. I did not print on it because they were already special without it. For the cover I ordered my own stamps.

Aspergus paper

Hope to make the final book this comming week.
