These weeks I started to experiment with surfaces and flowers. In between working on my research project. I now have a book on the flowers finished and I am, after talking with Laura, investing different ways of printing. To see if it is possible to let it be a bit more material based or have the 3D layer separated on top. When rendering it in Dimensions I have the option to render to a Photoshop file witch provides me with the 3D part I a different, separated, not longer 3D, layer. Those two layers can be separated printed and combined to show the layers. The question; how would that look like is important to me, it has add something to the total experience. Something I am going to investigate this week.
In the images below: 1. the original, 2. a green later make during the render process. 3. The 3d rendered part in a separated layer not longer a 3D object and 4. The 3D rendered part combined with the green layer.

This week I went to 2 places to take pictures there. Left early in the morning. One is the Biesbosch National Park. A place with lots of water and mosquitoes. A lot of delta where we have reservoirs for drinking water. I had read about a sort of monument: "the crescent moon", unfortunately, there was nothing to be seen from my point of view. Partly because the grass was very high. The second place is also an area with a lot of water. There the photo on top is made.

Struggeling a bit with this image
And started with this one but not yet happy.
I bought plaster bandage and I am trying ways to use it to transform images on and to have a real 3d experience. This are the first experiments. Transferring the image before and after the moment I used the plaster. Before is not working as I thought before.
