In the context of climate change, I am looking up at the clouds. Occasionally, however, it is also nice to "ground". That is why I have found cauliflower as a symbol for clouds. There can be snow, ice or water in the clouds. If the ice on the poles is melting, it means that this happened in the clouds, I wonder. Do scientists already know anything about that?

This one I put on this weeks forum to see what others taught about it, or saw.
All the reactions I get don't surprise me very much. Weston is mentioned naturally and the visual resemblance to brain, mushroom, rock and cloud formations. Nothing is said in the forum about structures and construction or even the light. Steph talks later in the live session about an ugliness that makes the photo better than that of Weston because we already know the beauty of Weston. The biggest compliment I ever got, I think. I am going to guess for myself if that was my intention and I have to admit that I do not know that although I am certainly a fan of creating an unheimliches feeling.
The ones I liked the most I can relate to the quote of Cindy Sherman:
Bekkie This makes me think of fungus and illness, like an out of control chaotic mess.
I know your work is about clouds & climate change though, so possibly it could be a narrative on how climate change is making our weather out of control, and like a disease on us, causing infection and death.
Intent a
What was my intens and reaction: I used a plate camera and scheimpfug to create a strange depth of field. I didn't make the exposure exactely right. Of course making it I thought about Westen but didn't want to create a reproduction. Steph called it ugliness and I am honored by that. I wonder; what if people who did not know about my project had responded, what would they have seen?

Playing a lot of images over each other, making layers is something I like to research.
