IC w14 My cyanometer

but I actually did something with it and didn't show that; forgot it until I saw the image back on my phone.


I made my own version of a Cyanometer, for fun.

In the hardware store I went to get sample cards that are intended to help to make a choice for a color of paint. The cards are there to take home and the nice thing is that each color also has a name.

Here you see some of the colors:


  • Sports: Sailing ship, Snowboard, Ice rink, Winter sports, Skiing

  • Time: Millennium, August, Days, Second, Winter, January

  • Places: Wadden blue, Zeeland, Holland, Seychellen, Bonaire, Maldives

I placed all the cards in order on the table to make an alternative cyanometer myself. Strangely enough, I am sure there were photos again, but I cannot find them. That is why I provided the one I could find in Photoshop with a white border.


This are a bit over 70 different colours.
