I still had too much in my WIP and so still a round "kill your darlings"
These icy landscapes were really hard to let go. In the end, the decision was made because she least suited this block in the total series. The top photos remind me, in addition to ice, of the bones of a mamoth and for me it is definitely one of the favorites. He was also on the front page of the essay where I took it away, with a heavy heart.

The 3D maps for which I have made complete pages and of which I have the idea that I am still at the beginning of development have, for now, also disappeared from the WIP. That while my brother is experimenting with new prints and I am learning how to make the bottom thicker to make printing easier. Because I was curious about what they would look like, I built a 3D visualization that eventually developed into a kind of virtual expo. Who also died during this round with the aim to leave less. The pagans who have not survived can be viewed below.

The link to the online experience: https://adobe.ly/2VoekWZ (but also embedded below). On the right a new experiment with semi-transparent photos. The question is whether I can make it in such a way that you get the idea of walking virtually through clouds.
Finally, the section with analog photos and graphics did not pass the selection. Also definitely something I want to come back to in the future to see if I can expand them further. For now they do not fit in the series.

So today a total of 10 pages of my WIP were killed to get the maximum number of photos. Some really hurt my heart. Paul told me that the diptych can count as one. That still helps, because otherwise I would have to delete even more. This time I had no stress at the end of this block to finish everything on time, but selecting it, if you have more than 100 images that could be in the portfolio, has certainly not been easy.
