The idea is to make a record. Some of the things I researched:

I have actually 2 different ideas. One of them is using my 3D images to combine it with a spiral you see on a record and see what I get.

The other one is to convert the pixels of an image into sound and than assign an instrument to it. Several images and several musical instruments make an orkest.

It is possible to let your own record printed on vinyl on the site:

3 steps of making a one-off record:

  1. Upload your own music. You can fit a maximum of 20 minutes of music on a 10″ record, that’s 10 minutes of music per side. We require a .WAV file for mastering the track, usually at a sample rate of 44.1kHz and a bit depth of either 16 or 24 bit. This ensures that we’re working with high quality audio from the beginning

  2. Create your cover art. We recommend a high resolution .jpeg or .png design for front and back (minimum 1024×1024)

  3. Upload your custom labels.

Producing the STL data file for the 3D printer required the creation of some custom software to import the raw audio, massage it, convert it to a physical waveform, and generate the overall geometry of the target disc. The Instructable has complete details for those interested, including background information on how vinyl audio recording works, and a fascinating discussion of the evolution of the project. And, of course, there is plenty enough information to allow you to create your own discs, if you're lucky enough to have access to a 3D printer.

The software they use to transform the sound into a record is open course: processing and is code based. https://www.processing.org

A video that explains what the software can do:

this fisher price record player looks more easy to use and print in the articles: https://www.instructables.com/id/3D-printing-records-for-a-Fisher-Price-toy-record-/

But it doesn't look that good for in a museum.

How to play a record. I have a turntable but playing a 3d experiment record on it probably breaks it so i was looking for other solutions.

I saw divers cars that you can use to play a record. "record runner" and " Record Killer" are names. The sound is miserable and it is very bad for the quality of the record but looks fun.
