FMP 3D new direction?

Here you see the original cloud image.

I did 2 trials to combine it in Dimensions with a 3D object generated from the original (18 hours of rendering each) and got the 2 images below.

I wasn't completely happy with the results so did something with layers and blending; see other I could get the white clouds from the background see a bit more through.

This is the result I like the most at this moment, almost a graphic.

Together with the other one that I made last week (see together here) I can see this working as a new series.

And todays new ones, which I am not sure fit the others.
