At the EliottHall gallery she advised me to go to fine art galleries instead of photo galleries. In addition, they told me to do research beforehand into the work and what they did and the kind of artist they represent. Now I teach Lightroom and Photoshop to a fairly well-known photographer who currently has an exhibition in 5 places in the world and then literally in Japan and Amrica and in between. The right place to ask where I can best start. When I talk to him I notice that he must like the gallery owner. It becomes a kind of friend. In addition, he tells me that you must have a gallery in Berlin (Pfundt), where you most likely won't sell anything but that will take you seriously in the rest of the world.
In the Netherlands he is told Rademakers is one of the best galleries. Reading the text on the website I see that female artiest is one of the pillars. I like the artist they represent and they are very active. In Rotterdam he is very charmed by Zerp. I was there a couple of weeks ago during an opening of an exhibition and I have to agree.
Other names are Ron Mandos and Cokkie Snoei.
Clare told me during the weekly sessions to also have a look at open calls, musea and organisations that aare daling with climate change.
During the opening in the photography museum I met with the curator and made an apointment to mail him so that I could show him my cloud project.
During the exhibition I also met with Karin Arink who Show my images and liked them and she told me to go on, show it everywhere and that it would be picked up by some-one, for sure.
