Saskia Boelsums is most beloved artist of the year 2010.
She is a photographer although you have to look good to see it.
Her photos look like old paintings and you could therefore call them neo-romantic. The color, composition, drama and the light it all fits. All that in a square frame that we know from instagram.
The most fascinating image, to me, is more of a photographic than painting lookalike
