IC w5 Collecting Air

Something remains in my mind, namely a part of the story of Suzette Bousema about which I wrote earlier in the blog. https://maassen3.wixsite.com/blog/post/ic-w3-phototalks


What Suzanne told during the phototalk is that scientist are investigating air that is encapsulated in ice, but because now the ice is melting, there is no air to investigate from this period. That is why she collects air on the beach every month. She makes 2 bubbles in which the air goes; one for exhibition, the other for posterity. a wonderful given. It goes one step further than just establishing; she acts too.


The question is of course whether it can and will be used later, but that does not alter the fact that, because she exhibits it, it may make people think.
