In my photography, I am often looking for a new, non-existent, kind of reality that is normally not perceptible by the human eye, but that is embedded. The medium that I use for this is photography, but not in the sense that I press a button to take a picture of something that happens in front of my lens.
The subject of the images always has to do with the relationship of man with nature. As a sort of sculptor, the image is kneaded and manipulated. My tools are the technical possibilities of light, film, infrared sensitivity, photographic paper, chemicals, and software.
Experimenting, not having complete control over the end result, unpredictability, errors, happy accidents, I really like that during my work and it is used; images help evolve themselves. I look for alienations inside of images; things that make you look twice. I am a big believer that the time you put into a project is reflected in its outcome.
During my holidays I love to take the camera outside and make portraits as a way to connect to people and hear part of their stories. It is a bit of giving and take.
